Privacy Policy

Last updated September 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what DiceSMS collects, why, and how it's handled. The short version: we collect what's needed to run the wallet, rentals, and referral program securely, and we don't sell your data.

1. Introduction

DiceSMS ("we", "us") operates a virtual phone number rental platform. This policy applies to the website, dashboard, and API.

By creating an account, you consent to the collection and use of information as described here.

3. Information We Collect

  • Account data — email address and an argon2-hashed password (we never store your plaintext password).
  • Financial & usage data — wallet balance, deposit and rental transaction history, referral relationships and commission earned.
  • Security data — IP address and session metadata, used for fraud detection, rate limiting, and audit logging of admin actions.
  • Optional profile data — a profile photo, if you choose to upload one (stored via Cloudinary, our image hosting provider).
  • API data — if you register a webhook URL, we deliver rental events (e.g. a received code) to it via an HMAC-signed HTTP request.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use this data to operate your account (rentals, wallet, referrals), secure it (fraud detection, two-factor authentication, session validation), communicate with you (verification emails, password resets, transactional notices sent via our mail provider), and calculate referral commission.

5. Log Files

Like most platforms, our servers log requests (IP address, timestamp, endpoint) for debugging, security monitoring, and abuse prevention. Log data is not used to build an advertising profile of you.

6. Cookies & Web Beacons

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't run third-party advertising trackers or web beacons on the dashboard or API.

7. Children's Information

DiceSMS is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

8. Contact Us

For any privacy question or data request, reach out through the contact page, or the support email listed in your account settings.
