Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern your use of DiceSMS — a platform for renting virtual phone numbers to receive SMS verification codes. By creating an account or using the API, you agree to them.

1. Modification of Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated review date; continuing to use DiceSMS after a change means you accept the new version.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use a rented number for illegal activity, to defraud a third-party service, to create accounts en masse in violation of that service's own terms, or to abuse the referral program (self-referrals, fake accounts, or coordinated sign-up rings). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account engaged in these activities and to withhold associated balance.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your password and API key confidential. Enable two-factor authentication if you want an extra layer of protection — we support it, and recommend it for any account holding a meaningful balance. Report a compromised account or leaked API key immediately; a leaked key can be rotated instantly from your dashboard.

4. Phone Numbers

Numbers are rented, not sold — they remain available for reassignment after your rental window ends or after a successful long-term rental (LTR) is cancelled. Don't use a rented number as a permanent identity for a third-party account you intend to keep long-term unless you keep the LTR active; once released, a number's future SMS traffic is no longer yours to receive.

5. Purchases, Cancellation & Refunds

Short-term rentals only charge your balance once a verification code actually arrives — if nothing arrives within the rental window, the hold is released automatically and nothing is deducted. Long-Term Rentals bill daily in advance while active; cancel anytime to stop future charges, but already-billed days are not refunded. Because pricing already builds in the no-code-no-charge guarantee, we don't offer manual refunds for rentals that simply didn't receive a code in time — that case is handled automatically, not by a support request.

6. Additional Purchases & Payments

Wallet balance is funded with crypto (USDT or Bitcoin) through our payment processor. Deposits are credited once the transaction is confirmed on-chain and the payment gateway reports it complete — this is outside our direct control once a deposit is broadcast, so double-check the address and network before sending.

7. 3DS Agreement

DiceSMS does not currently process card payments, so 3-D Secure authentication does not apply to any transaction on the platform today. If card payments are added in the future, this section will be updated before that method goes live.

8. Wallet Transfers

Wallet-to-wallet transfers between DiceSMS accounts are a planned feature and are not enabled for all accounts yet. Where available, a transfer is final once confirmed — there is no automatic reversal for a transfer sent to the wrong recipient.

9. Referral Program

Share your referral link or code; when someone signs up through it, you earn 5% of every charged rental they make for 40 days after their signup, credited to your wallet the moment their rental is charged. Commission is capped at $1,000 lifetime per individual referral. Referral rewards may be withheld or reversed if the referred account is found to be fraudulent, a duplicate, or created solely to farm commission.

10. Delivery

"Delivery" here means the delivery of an SMS/OTP code to a rented number, not a physical product. Delivery time depends on the destination service and, for non-mock providers, the upstream SMS provider — we route through a provider-abstraction layer designed to fail over rather than leave a rental stuck, but we don't control the sending network end-to-end.

11. Warranties Disclaimer

DiceSMS is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that any specific third-party service (WhatsApp, Telegram, or any other destination) will accept a given number for verification, since that decision is made by the destination service, not by us.

12. Severability Clause

If any clause in these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in effect — only the unenforceable clause is removed or narrowed to the minimum extent necessary.
